Introduction

At Footprints Floors, we ensure every customer receives a superior level of service. In addition to doing the little things that other companies won't, we provide options to the customers that our competition simply can't. In addition, we pride ourselves on being honest and serving our customers with integrity from start to finish. Because we run a mobile business model (our estimators, project managers and installation technicians come to you), we never need to spend money on expensive showrooms, non-essential employees, or storage space for flooring materials. This keeps our overhead costs extremely low...and we happily pass our savings on to you, the homeowner! We have created a unique company structure that promotes the best in people, products and business practices. Putting the customer first and striving for an impeccable reputation in the flooring industry is our primary goal and our success is evident in the excellent customer ratings we've received with Google, HomeAdvisor, Yelp and more!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
-Footprints Floors offers financing to their customers. -Footprints Floors has a unique business model for hardwood flooring in Louisville. It is one that eliminates most of the overhead of other hardwood floor providers. We can offer many select flooring options at our cost to you. It is possible, simply because we do not have extra expenses to factor into your purchase price. -Commitment to value and honest business practices compel Footprints Floors to provide the best prices and service in the flooring industry. We invite you to compare our products, quality and service to anyone else. We think you will be surprised at the Footprints Floors difference.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We like to meet the customer at their property to measure and discuss the best flooring choices. We will send an estimate to the customer quickly and competitively.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Install, sand and finish new hardwood and all existing hardwood. Stain new floors and old floors to match. Install new or refinish treads and risers on stairs. Help select and install new tile or vinyl floors. Natural stone and tile installation. Move furniture, appliances and plumbing. Remove/dispose of the existing floor. Remove/return baseboards and furniture.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Most hardwood "companies" are a small outfit usually consisting of one or two guys. Sometimes those companies are good, but far too often they're not, and customers are left with either an unfinished product or inferior product...or no product in the worst case scenarios. We recommend customers compare not just the final price of an estimate, but the level of experience, knowledge, and customer service that is provided as well. All of that goes into a Footprints Floors estimate, and it is where we stand apart from the competition. We provide excellent knowledge and professionalism for a much higher overall value to each customer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It is advised that, as the customer, you understand what your project will entail. Though some companies come in with a low cost per square foot number, beware that they often tack on hidden costs and extra items. Be sure to compare apples to apples when receiving multiple bids from various companies. Check to make sure the contractor carries liability insurance. If not, you could be in for big trouble should anything go wrong with your project. We at Footprints Floors carry liability insurance and require all of our contractors and installers to carry liability insurance as well. Who is doing the installation? Is the same company that does the estimate doing the installation? Will there be any supervision on site throughout the project? Who is your point of contact through the process? We at Footprints Floors ensure that we are operating with daily visits to each site, stress communication with customers, and act as the professional representative to ensure each project meets both the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) and the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) standards of installation.
